  • Do you have a cancellation charge?

    Yes, we do.

    Cancellations, including rescheduling, within a 48 hr period will be subject to a 50% charge of the booked service.

    No shows will be charged at 100% of the booked service.

    We require credit or debit card details to secure your booking.

    We reserve the right to enforce, or defer this charge.

  • Do I have to have a patch test?

    Absolutely, yes.

    If you’ re a first time colour client, a colour consultation and patch test is a compulsory requirement.

    There must be a gap of 48 hrs minimum, between your patch test and colour service.

    We want to ensure you don’t have a reaction to the colours we use. A reaction is not fun and it’s better for all concerned to be safe!

    Your patch test is valid for six months and rolls over to the next six months with every appointment as long as you haven’t had hair colour (at another salon), tattoos, henna or any other dye based work done in between appointments. In this case, we will need to do a new patch test.

    If you haven’t had your colour done in six months from your last appt, you will need a new patch test.

  • What’s your clothing/property policy?

    We absolutely try our BEST to not stain or damage your clothing or personal property you bring into the salon.

    However, we work with chemicals, hot and sharp tools, that could potentially stain or damage your clothing or personal property.

    Anything you bring into the salon with you will be considered as assumption of risk on your part and we are not responsible for any damage that may occur.

    To be on the safe side, leave the designer clothes and jewellery at home and come in comfy. Or bring a change of clothes with you. Our rest room has plenty of space for a change of clothes!

  • Do you do Student Discount?

    Yes, we do.

    10% discount is applicable from Tuesday to Friday on all services (except Express Services) and stylists up to Senior level.

    Student discount is not applicable with our Specialists, Future Talent or products.

    Student ID must be presented at the time of checkout.

  • Is there an age limit for colour services?

    Yes, there is. You have to be 16 years old to have any colour services.

  • Do you take cash?

    No, we are card only, including American Express.

  • Ummm, what about gender?

    We’re gender neutral. Our services are based on time required, irrespective of gender. All are welcome.

  • Do you do children’s cuts?

    We do cuts for children over the age of 8.

  • Re-Adjustment Policy

    If you have reservations about your hair colour or cut, we have a very positive re-adjustment policy. Please email hello@lintonandmac.com within 7 days from your service and we will take it from there!
